Green Always

I’m not Irish, but I’m green to the core.

My favorite color happens to be green.

My birthstone is emerald!

In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, here’s a celebration of green!

  1. I’m very partial to green myself, Joan, so kudos to you for celebrating the color as you have here here in this lovely, refreshing collection.

  2. I seemed to have missed this at the time of St. Paddy’s Day, Joan. I too especially love green, and your large selection of photos here is great!

Just read last night by chance in the book I am reading on the historical “Troubles” in Northern Ireland that there are far more people of Irish descent in the USA than over here in the UK.

Did not surprise me. I recall the huge parades in NYC, I wonder if they still have them?

Question: You included a close-up of a tree with patches of green and russet, as I recall.

What is the species, do you know?

Let’s hear it for green all year ‘round! 🍀
